Crude Oil Refining

Dravon's crude oil refining operations represent the cornerstone of our downstream business, processing a diverse slate of crude grades ranging from light sweet to heavy sour feedstocks. Our refineries employ multi-stage atmospheric and vacuum distillation systems coupled with advanced secondary conversion units to maximize the yield of high-value products such as gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, and lubricant base oils. Each facility is equipped with state-of-the-art distributed control systems and real-time process analytics that enable our operators to optimize throughput, energy consumption, and product quality around the clock.

Our refining complexes integrate catalytic cracking, hydrocracking, and reforming technologies that allow us to adapt our product mix in response to seasonal demand shifts and regional market requirements. Dravon's proprietary blending optimization models ensure that every barrel of finished product meets or exceeds applicable ASTM, EN, and regional fuel specifications. Continuous investment in turnaround excellence, reliability engineering, and corrosion management programs ensures that our refineries consistently achieve industry-leading availability and mechanical integrity performance.

Gas Processing & LNG

Dravon's gas processing division operates a network of strategically located plants designed to condition, treat, and fractionate raw natural gas into pipeline-quality methane, natural gas liquids, and LNG-ready feed streams. Our facilities employ amine-based gas sweetening systems, molecular sieve dehydration, and turboexpander-based NGL recovery technologies to extract maximum value from every cubic foot of raw gas. With the global transition toward cleaner energy sources accelerating, our gas processing infrastructure is positioned at the forefront of meeting rising demand for natural gas as a bridge fuel and industrial feedstock.

Our LNG liquefaction capabilities leverage proprietary mixed-refrigerant and nitrogen expander cycle technologies to produce liquefied natural gas at scale for export to international markets. Dravon's cryogenic processing units operate at temperatures below minus 260 degrees Fahrenheit, converting treated natural gas into a compact, transportable liquid form that enables global trade. Our integrated gas value chain, from wellhead gathering through final liquefaction and loading, is supported by advanced pipeline SCADA systems, real-time composition analyzers, and predictive maintenance platforms that ensure uninterrupted operations and consistent product specifications.

Petrochemical Integration

Dravon's petrochemical integration strategy captures additional value from our refining and gas processing operations by converting intermediate hydrocarbon streams into high-demand chemical products. Our aromatics complexes produce benzene, toluene, and paraxylene, which serve as essential building blocks for the plastics, synthetic fiber, and pharmaceutical industries. Through tight integration between our refineries and adjacent petrochemical units, we achieve superior feedstock flexibility and thermal efficiency, reducing per-unit production costs while maximizing overall complex margin.

Our olefins and polymers business operates world-scale steam crackers and polymerization units that convert ethane, naphtha, and propane feedstocks into ethylene, propylene, polyethylene, and polypropylene products for global distribution. Dravon's dedicated process optimization teams employ advanced kinetic modeling, real-time yield accounting, and digital twin simulations to continuously improve conversion rates, selectivity, and energy efficiency across all petrochemical assets. Our catalyst management programs, developed in partnership with leading technology licensors, ensure optimal catalyst performance, extended run lengths, and minimal unplanned downtime throughout each operating cycle.
